    Direction is for homeowners at the very beginning of a renovation, before the scope, design direction or major project decisions have been locked in.

    It is suited to people who want an expert perspective on what their home needs, what should change, what may be worth keeping and where to focus their investment.

    Direction is not detailed design. It is not intended for clients who need developed layouts, material selections, construction documentation or builder-ready information.

  • 01. Pre-Session Discovery

    Before we meet, you’ll complete a questionnaire covering your property, renovation goals, current frustrations, lifestyle requirements, preferences and key concerns.

    02. Design Strategy Session

    During the two-hour in-home session, we work through three areas:

    Home & Lifestyle Assessment

    • Walkthrough of the existing property

    • Discussion of how they currently live, risks and opportunities

    • Future needs

    • Priorities

    Design Direction

    • Overall vision for the home

    • Initial aesthetic direction

    • What the home should feel like

    Renovation Guidance

    • Questions to consider with architects/builders

    • Areas requiring further investigation

    • Decision-making priorities

  • Following the session, you’ll receive a concise Direction Folio covering:

    • Project objectives

    • Your priorities

    • Lifestyle considerations

    • Key opportunities within the property

    • Initial design direction

    • Recommended next steps

    Direction does not include developed concepts, detailed layouts, material selections, documentation or builder-ready information. These belong to the design stages that may follow.

  • Direction is offered as a fixed-fee, two-hour consultation. The fee is confirmed before the consultation is booked and is payable in advance.

    Direction is available across Sydney metropolitan areas. Additional travel costs may apply for locations further afield.

    Direction is the starting point for new Resolve and Focus clients. If you proceed to either service, the Direction fee is credited towards the design fee.
